A bad Stanford team hits the road to play a very good Kansas State team. Kansas State is always a tough team to play and we all know the game plan. They are going to own the line of scrimmage, run the ball at will, rock you to sleep, then throw passes over the top. Honestly no rhyme or reason to it, I just know Stanford is bad and Kansas State covers easily.

Penn State @ Wisconsin

Wisconsin has won 25 home openers dating back to 1996. And I cannot see that streak ending today. Especially against a Penn State team that lost its opener in a thriller to Indiana last year. Wisconsin is as solid as a team as ever and while James Franklin is potentially on the hot seat at Penn State this year, I don’t see how they can get the job done.
Pick: I am taking Wisconsin -5.5.
Alabama vs. Miami

Not much to say on this one. Alabama dominates in every element of this game and dominates a Miami team that won’t be able to keep up with the Tide. I know Alabama will score 40+ points and I see the Tide defense holding Miami well under 20. If The U comes through and wins this game straight up I will never trust myself in picking college football games again.

Indiana @ Iowa

Tom Allen has been creating an impressive Indiana squad ever since he has taken over. With returning weapons and experience, I have a huge amount of faith in an Indiana team that historically is great a covering games. Unfortunately I don’t know who on offense for Iowa can produce the points and plays they will need to keep up. While Iowa has a talented secondary that can give Indiana some headaches, it won’t be enough for the Hawkeyes to come through in this one.
I am taking Indiana +3.5.
Georgia vs. Clemson

Just as a disclaimer I must admit, I am a Clemson fan. And on top of that, I grew up in Georgia. So that said I will tell you how this is going to go. It will be a close game for a while but Clemson will ultimately pull away and win this game. Clemson needs this game to basically get into the College Football Playoff. So does Georgia, BUT if you know anything about Georgia football, it is that next year is always there year. They have trouble winning the big games. Just like most Georgia sports, they are more about heartaches and disappointment. Clemson has absolutely reloaded on offense with the new QB and RB, and most all of their starters have returned on the defensive side of the ball. With a hungry squad out for revenge after how their season ended last year, I honestly think Clemson wins this game handily by 2 score.
Pick: I am taking Clemson -3.5.
UTSA @ Illinois

The line for this game is an absolute disrespect to Illinois. While they are not a full powerhouse, they looked very good against Nebraska last week and they are easily a touchdown favorite against UTSA especially at home. And remember when Bret Bielema, the headcoach as the coach at Wisconsin. He would blow the brakes off of out of conference opponents to ensure his team won and players earned good experience. This was maybe one of my easiest picks of the day.
Pick: I am taking Illinois -5.0.
LSU @ UCLA

LSU travels out to Pasadena, California to play a UCLA team that looked great against Hawaii. I do not understand the hype around this LSU team especially with how awful they turned out last year. I truly think it was the Joe Borrow show when they won the National Title a few seasons ago. LSU is overrated this year and I think UCLA surprises people in dominant fashion. Chip Kelly and UCLA have nothing to lose and everything to gain in this game and that makes them even more dangerous in this matchup.
Pick: I am taking UCLA +1.5 and ML.
BYU @ Arizona

This post will be mainly about how bad Arizona is. Arizona season total over/under for total wins this year was set at 1.5. They won exactly 0 games last year with their last matchup against rival Arizona State getting run off the field. It was a loss of 70-7. BYU dominates this game and has fun doing it.
